In 20 years of history there were eleven editions of Canoe Polo World Championships, since 1994 in Sheffield, in the UK, till the last edition of Thury-Harcourt in France. In senior-cathegory for men, the Dutch lead the medal-table, while among women first place belongs to the Germans. For the category Under 21 men, France is on the top, while for women under 21, Germany is the leader. In overall statistics, the best nation is Germany, with 7 gold, 9 silver and 6 bronze medals.
